Sunday 9/19/10

3:15 a.m. up with mom, in lots of back pain and anxious...Gave her first dose of morphine... waited with her and rubbed her back till 3:30 no relief called Hospice and they said give her another dose and some lorazepam - then she was better and she fell back to sleep... I dozed in big chair until hospiice called back at 5 a.m and since she was resting comfortably I went back to bed.

8 a.m. mom awake until 9 - she ate 1/2 an egg and 4 oz of oj and 2 bites eng muffin and her regular meds and two inhaler treatments. She is now resting.

Mitch let me know via facebook - he will be home on Wed and Mom will be relieved when I tell her. (no cell phone reception in Camp Mather "country").

Had a great talk with Bobby this a.m. always great to hear of others experiences and needed support. So thank you!
